Heathrow: Time for Labour to Stop Dithering and Say No

Responding to the news that the Government has delayed a decision on a third runway at Heathrow, Lib Dem parliamentary campaigner, Bridget Fox, says:

“Liberal Democrats are totally opposed to the idea. Adding a third runway at Heathrow would be a disaster. It would increase carbon emissions when we need to cut them, and demolish London homes when we need to build more. It will bring many more flights across our skies, but most of the passengers will be in transit – doing nothing for our economy.”
