Bridget takes to TV to call for a massive clean-up of politics
Islington South & Finsbury Lib Dem contender Bridget Fox took to the TV studios last weekend to promote her call for radical action to clean up politics.
Last week, Bridget was one of over 80 leading candidates from across the country who wrote to the Speaker demanding he publish all MPs expenses – or resign.
“Like so many of my fellow voters, I’ve been shocked and disgusted by the revelations about greedy and corrupt MPs over the last few weeks.
“Liberal Democrats have been calling for democratic reform for decades. The secret club of Westminster has got to be opened up, with voters in charge.
“We need politicians from all parties who are willing to make these changes. And if existing MPs won’t change the system, then we need to elect a new team who will.”
