Liberal Democrat PPC for Islington South and Finsbury Bridget Fox was there to support the young stars of Islington Youth Theatre as they took to the stage of the Olivier Theatre at the South Bank last night.

The young people put on their production of the play ‘Success’ by Nick Drake. They were chosen from amongst hundreds of other youth theatres to perform at the National Theatre as part of the prestigious New Connections Festival 2009.

Bridget is one of the ‘Success Shareholders’ who helped Islington Youth Theatre take part. She says, “I was thrilled by the superb singing, dancing and acting, and by the confidence and maturity of the performers. Islington Youth Theatre does such excellent work and I was delighted to help sponsor the show: they have all done Islington proud.”

Bar chart: it's Lib Dem or Labour here

The Conservatives, Greens and UKIP can't win in Islington South. Voting for them will just help Labour to win again. Only the Lib Dems can beat Labour in our area.
