Bridget calls for Royal Mail investment as postal workers strike

1493_Hornsey_Street_letterBridget Fox, Liberal Democrat campaigner and PPC for Islington South & Finsbury, has condemned the failure of the Labour government to invest properly in the Royal Mail.

Bridget spoke out as postal workers went on strike across Britain.
Bridget Fox said “Labour’s post office closures – backed by Emily Thornberry MP – have already hit Islington hard.

“Now Lord Mandelson’s privatisation plan is causing more uncertainty for Royal Mail and more disruption to our postal service. And every time it’s ordinary people who lose out. ”
